Biography
Leki Tshering was appointed as Junior Lecturer/Alumni Engagement Officer at JSW School of Law w.e.f January 1, 2023.
He interned with UNDP Bhutan in the Governance and Advocacy Portfolio, UNICEF Bhutan Country Office in the Child Protection and Adolescent Development and Participation Section, and the Office of the Attorney General during two winter breaks. Additionally, he worked as a Policy Consultant on a Research Project on situational analysis of deprivation of liberty of children in the administration of justice in South Asia.
Leki has also represented his law school at numerous national and international events, including the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition as an Oralist, the 13th International Winter Residential School for Economic, Social, and Developmental Rights, and the second edition of the Kathmandu Dialogue.

Leki Tshering graduated from the Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law with a degree in B.A. LLB/Post Graduate Diploma in National Law. He has also earned a Diploma in Economic, Social, and Developmental Rights from the International Residential School of the Kathmandu School of Law in Nepal. He completed his high school education at Motithang Higher Secondary School.
