Dr. Tenzin Wangchuk

Professor

Biography

Dr Tenzin Wangchuk was appointed as the Registrar of JSW Law in April 2023 and served in the administrative role for three years before transitioning to a faculty position in April 2026.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delhi, a Master of Environment from the University of Melbourne, and a Doctor of Philosophy from Queensland University of Technology. He is also a Senior Fellow of Advance HE, United Kingdom, in recognition of his contributions to teaching and learning in higher education.

He has expertise in air quality, with particular focus on air quality monitoring, household energy use, and human exposure measurement. He has published several research articles and led several projects on household energy sources and air quality monitoring.

At JSW Law, he teaches Research Methods and a foundational course on Environmental and Climate Science.

Prior to joining JSW Law, he served as a lecturer at Sherubtse College, Royal University of Bhutan, where he also held the position of Dean of Academic Affairs.
