Welcoming New Members to the JSW Law Community

We are delighted to announce the newest additions to the JSW Law family, each bringing a distinctive blend of expertise, dedication, and passion to their respective roles:

🔹 Wangchuk Namgyel joins us as the Director for Student Affairs and Faculty Services, bringing a wealth of experience and passion for education and supporting our students and faculty.

🔹 Helen Fraser Lansdowne assumes the role of Assistant Dean for our Climate Change & Environmental Law Centre, poised to partner with the national and international partners and lead in addressing pressing environmental challenges with her extensive knowledge, experience and commitment.

Prof. Wing Cheong joins JSW Law as a visiting faculty to teach Child Rights: Law & Policy. With his expertise and dedication, Prof. Wing will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of legal professionals passionate about child rights. He is also a criminal law professor and is currently co-authoring a book titled ‘Principles of Criminal Law: A Treatise on the Penal Code of Bhutan’ with our faculty, Prof. Dema Lham, and other criminal law experts.

🔹 Tashi Tshomo, a final-year student joined us as an Extern in our Climate Change & Environmental Law Centre, bringing with her our youth’s perspective and a keen eagerness to contribute to our mission.
