JSW Law–Past, Present and Future

JSW Law family came together for a week to reflect on our past journey, celebrate our present achievements and to strategize the JSW Law Phase-II (2022-2032).
The faculty and staff of JSW Law gathered for the school’s Five-day workshop and retreat at Le Meridien Paro Riverfront last week. The community reviewed the progress made during the law school’s first ten years and charted a course for the law school’s second decade.The retreat included speakers from the Institute of Happiness on Adaptive Leadership and Change Management. Faculty and staff also presented on conflict management (Lecturer Kuenzang Dolma), contract review and drafting (Senior Lecturer Sonam Tshering), and digital information management systems (Kelden Jamtsho, Sr. ICT).Autumn classes concluded at JSW Law’s temporary campus in Thimphu in December. They will resume in March; the Spring semester will mark the inauguration of teaching and learning at the school’s permanent campus in Pangbisa, Paro.
