JSW Law at the White & Case Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition

JSW Law is representing Bhutan at the White & Case Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington DC from 8-15 April 2023. The competition is a simulation of a fictional case between countries before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the judicial organ of the United Nations. The Championship round is usually judged by a panel consisting of sitting and former justices of ICJ, and the renowned scholars of international law. This year, around 138 teams from over 90 countries are participating in the international round of the competition.

JSW Law Team is represented by five students, Tashi Wangmo, Tshering Palden, Tashi Tshomo, Lekzang Pakila Lhaki and Ashis Gurung from the Class of 2024. The team will first compete against three teams in the preliminary rounds, with the first match scheduled for tonight at 12:00 Midnight (BST).
