IQA Framework & Principles
JSW Law’s IQA system is designed to be inclusive, evidence-based, and aligned with national regulatory requirements. It guides our academic programs, research activities, and administrative services through continuous review and enhancement.
JSW Law is committed to maintaining a rigorous system of quality assurance and continuous improvement that meets our internal quality assurance goals and the requirements of both the Higher Education Quality Council and the Bar Council of Bhutan. To achieve this, we commit to the following key principles:
- Keep our stakeholders informed by maintaining transparent, up-to-date information on all our programmes and processes, along with a publicly available Internal Quality Assurance Policy.
- Establish clear roles and responsibilities, ensuring departmental accountability and alignment with our institutional vision, mission, and goals.
- Ensure that adequate financial, human, physical, and technological resources are available to support effective teaching, learning, and research.
- Ensure fairness and transparency in student recruitment, admissions, academic progression, and graduation, actively supporting diverse learner needs and backgrounds.
- Design, approve, monitor, and review academic programmes, including learning and teaching methods and assessments, through a structured formal process to meet educational and industry standards and the learning objectives set for the programmes.
- Systematically monitor and review centers and support services to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Regularly assess the quality and outcomes of our training, research, consultancy, and other programmes to ensure they are relevant and impactful.
- Evaluate our IQA system through periodic reviews involving relevant stakeholders to maintain effectiveness and relevance.
